Libertyville Sports Complex remains closed
The Libertyville Sports Complex and fitness center will remain closed as the state moves into Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois. State guidelines allow for a limited amount of indoor recreation and fitness activities with a significant number of restrictions and mandated precautions. However, as an open warehouse style, mixed-use indoor recreation facility that offers sports floor space primarily to outside groups, enforcing crowd separation, sanitizing requirements, mask usage, and social distancing will be difficult, village officials said. The Sports Complex has not been permanently closed and the situation is being monitored. All refunds for fitness center memberships have been issued. Visit www.Libertyville.com.
