Lake Villa District Library to open

Lake Villa District Library will resume normal business hours at 9 a.m. Monday, June 29. A limited number of people will be allowed in the building at one time and face coverings will be required. Public computers and copy/fax machines will be available but technology assistance will be limited. Meeting/study room reservations, notary service and voter registration will not be immediately available. All public seating areas will be closed. Social distancing measures will be in place throughout the building, and high-traffic areas, such as public restrooms, hand rails, and door handles, for example, will be cleaned at least every two hours. The facility is thoroughly cleaned each evening. Curbside Pickup, where patrons can reserve material online or by phone ahead of time, will continue. Visit www.lvdl.org.
