Mask giveaway and document shredding event Saturday in Des Plaines

State Rep. Marty Moylan will host a combined mask giveaway and community shred day Saturday in Des Plaines.

The event is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Acuity Brands parking lot (formerly Juno Lighting Group), 1300 S. Wolf Road.

Residents are asked to remain in their vehicles to observe social distancing, while workers will collect documents to be shredded. Protective face masks will be offered for free.
