Arlington Heights church to hold Juneteenth service

First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights will host an outdoor socially-distanced Juneteenth remembrance service Friday night.

The 7 p.m. service in the west parking lot will include music, scripture, reflection and prayer on what is the anniversary of the end of slavery in the United States. There will be designated seats spaced apart, and attendees are asked to wear masks.

Parking will be available in the east lot and on the street, while there will be limited handicap parking in the main lot. The church is located at 302 N. Dunton Ave.
