State Rep. Kifowit leading Women's Veteran Discussion Friday
A Virtual Women's Veteran Discussion is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday to celebrate women in the military.
State Rep. Stephanie Kifowit will be hosting the discussion along with fellow veterans Nikita Richards and Melissa Bayan and special guest Helen Ehlers, a World War II veteran who served in the Marine Corps from 1944 to 1946. Kifowit, who represents the 84th District, is a Marine veteran recently elected as president of the Chicagoland chapter of the Women Marines Association.
