Virtual First Fridays continues in Aurora

Virtual First Fridays will continue in Aurora Downtown despite roughly 30 businesses in the area being hit by vandalism and looting Sunday night.

The downtown organization invites the community to check out art, music and more through the monthly event, which has turned into a virtual celebration because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event is set for 4 to 5 p.m. on Zoom, with Aurora trivia and giveaways from downtown businesses. Participating organizations will include content on their Facebook page, and the Aurora Downtown Facebook page at, https://www.facebook.com/auroradowntown, includes links to the Zoom meeting and shared content.

Participants also are invited to "Chalk with Pride" and share photos on social media this weekend as Aurora Downtown celebrates pride month.
