Naperville launches online cannabis survey

The city of Naperville has launched an online survey to seek public input about potential zoning regulations for adult-use cannabis businesses.

The survey is part of a five-step process toward the creation of zoning rules for possible future recreational cannabis stores.

The survey will be available at www.naperville.il.us/cannabis-workshop-survey until 5 p.m. Friday, June 12. A video about existing medical marijuana zoning regulations, which will be used as a starting point for discussion about proposed recreational cannabis regulations, also is available on the survey webpage, and city staff members encourage viewing the video before responding.

Anyone interested in providing feedback also can email laffa@naperville.il.us by 5 p.m. June 12 with questions or comments. Comments will be included in materials provided to city council members before a workshop scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, June 22 on Zoom.
