Input sought on wayfinding signs along Lake County trail

The Lake County Division of Transportation is seeking input on new wayfinding signs being tested on the North Shore Bike Path between Butterfield Road and St. Mary's Road in Libertyville.

"Explore Lake County" signs were introduced May 27 at a public meeting to discuss the results of a wayfinding and signage study. The test section is meant to give bike path users a better understanding of where they are on the trails and to make it easier to find connecting destinations.

Signs with instructions on how to provide your input through an interactive survey are along the route. Feedback will help complete the study and be considered when signs are installed throughout the LCDOT's bike path system.
