Adler Festival of the Arts in Libertyville canceled
The annual Adler Center's Festival of the Arts scheduled for August has been canceled for the first time in its long history due to the risks associated with COVID-19 exposure and transmission.
Adler officials said they had been optimistic the two-day event at Cook Park in downtown Libertyville could continue but decided to cancel in consultation with the village.
Adler officials said a Festival of the Arts 2020 Virtual Artist Listing page will be created at www.adlercenter.org to include all artists who applied to 2020 festival with links to their websites and online stores.
