Advocate honoring survivors, workers

All hospitals in the Advocate Aurora Health system in Illinois and Wisconsin will light up blue at 8 p.m. daily for two weeks beginning Tuesday to honor the memory of those lost to the COVID-19 virus and show gratitude for health care workers.

The blue exterior lights will symbolize the strength of COVID-19 survivors, love for those lost and thanks to health care workers helping in the fight.

Also on Tuesday, the hospitals started a moment of silence for 19 seconds, which they will continue to observe at 10 a.m. on the 19th day of each month.
