Rolling Meadows police continue to investigate a shooting during an altercation at a gas station Friday night that left a man hospitalized with a nonlife-threatening injury.

Officers were called to the station on the northwest corner of West Algonquin Road and Weber Drive at 9:30 p.m. Friday, police Cmdr. Mike Spanos said Monday.

The victim, who had been shot in the right hip while outside the gas station, was transported to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge for treatment. Police did not release the age or hometown of the victim Monday.

No one was in custody Monday as the investigation continued, Spanos said.
