Free cleaning for police, fire stations

Chicago Water & Fire Restoration is donating disinfection services to local fire and police stations as a preventive measure in response to the COVID-19 virus.

The company follows cleaning guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and applies Environmental Protection Agency-registered products to guard against bacteria and viruses. Teams are available 24 hours a day to disinfect restrooms, kitchens, public areas, floors, doors, electronics and high-touch areas.

Crews from the company have provided free cleanings for the Arlington Heights Fire Department, Lincolnwood fire and police departments, Yorkville Police Department and Lake Forest Fire Department, among others.

Police and fire agencies can schedule free cleanings at www.cwafr.com/fd or seek other sanitizing services by emailing disinfect@cwafr.com.
