Cookies for Caregivers accepting donations

The Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network - a nonprofit organ procurement organization that coordinates organ and tissue donation and provides public education on donation in Illinois and northwest Indiana - has launched the Cookies for Caregivers campaign, allowing the public to thank COVID-19 health care providers with a cookie and a note of gratitude.

Donations can be made at giftofhope.org/cookie-for-caregivers on the Gift of Hope's website in any denomination. Gift of Hope will use 100% of donations to buy cookies made as much as possible by local bakeries and deliver them to caregivers throughout Illinois. To date, more than $4,000 in donations have resulted in cookies being delivered to health care workers caring for COVID-19 patients at 25 hospitals throughout Illinois.
