Food drive in Lake County
Lake County officials will host a drive-through food donation to benefit the Northern Illinois Food Bank from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Lake County Government/Courthouse Building, 18 N. County, Waukegan. The event hosted by the 19th Judicial Circuit, Lake County government officials, the Lake County state's attorney's office, the Lake County sheriff's office, and the Lake County circuit clerk's office is collecting nonperishable food items. There will be no need to exit a vehicle, simply open your trunk and volunteers who will be wearing a mask and gloves will take the donation.
