Rolling Meadows courthouse employee tests positive for COVID-19

An employee with the social services department at Rolling Meadows Third Municipal District courthouse has tested positive for COVID-19, Cook County Chief Judge Timothy C. Evans announced Friday.

To date, nine people working for the chief judge's office have tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee, whose gender was not identified, last reported for work on March 31, according to circuit court spokesman Pat Milhizer.

Human resources personnel will alert anyone who had contact with the employee and faces potential exposure, Milhizer said. Areas where the employee worked received routine cleanings/disinfection as well as deep cleaning, Milhizer said.
