Batavia

• An Xbox One Pro and two controllers, a total value of $500, were reported stolen sometime Saturday from a residence on the 1200 block of East Wilson Street.

 

Kane County

• Richard T. Garbacz, 23, of the 44W500 block of Cochise Drive, Maple Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration of .08 or more, improper lane use and failure to yield after a traffic stop at 7:04 p.m. Wednesday after hitting a mailbox on the 4N900 block of Meredith Road near Maple Park, according to a sheriff's report. A breath test showed his BAC to be .159, the report said.

• A U.S. passport, checks and a wallet, a total value of $280, were stolen between 10:30 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Friday from a vehicle parked on the 600 block of South Webster Street near Aurora.

• A resident of the 39W200 block of East Burnham Lane near Geneva reported a case of identity theft at 4:01 p.m. Wednesday after receiving an email stating $212 was paid for a pair of shoes the resident didn't buy.
