City launches 'Curbside Aurora' website

The city of Aurora has launched a "Curbside Aurora" website that features Aurora restaurants open for delivery, curbside delivery or carryout, despite COVID-19 closures of dining rooms.

Aurorans and visitors can go to aurora-il.org/restaurants to find a list of restaurants with multiple ordering and delivery options, including those that use popular food delivery apps like Door Dash, GrubHub and Uber Eats.

"As we all navigate this crisis, we'll continue to support each other as Aurorans always do," Mayor Richard C. Irvin said. "The restaurant owners are very responsive to and appreciative of this effort while patrons have expressed excitement at the possibility of helping local restaurants and for the convenience of having the information all in one place."

More than 60 restaurants registered on the "Curbside Aurora" site its first day. Restaurant owners and managers can continue to register at the same site.
