New principal for Hooper school in Lindenhurst
Steve Feldman has been named principal starting in July at B.J. Hooper Elementary School in Lindenhurst, part of Lake Villa Elementary District 41.
Feldman the past three years has been assistant principal at Butterfield School, the largest K-5 facility in Libertyville Elementary District 70. Before Butterfield, he was an assistant principal and physical education teacher at Copeland Manor School in District 70.
Feldman is known for his willingness to pitch in and help when there is a need, connecting and joking with students and being the Go-To summer school leader, according to District 70.
