Lake Villa library to close until March 30
The Lake Villa District Library will close effective at 6 p.m. Friday, March 13, with an anticipated reopening on Monday, March 30.
The measure has been taken for the safety of the general public and library staff, not due to any known exposure, library officials said. During the closure, patrons are asked not to return library materials.
All due dates have been extended and book returns will not be available. The facility will still serve as an official polling site for precincts 149, 150 & 156 for the primary election on Tuesday.
