Hanover Township hosts Women in Leadership panel March 7

Hanover Township and the American Association of Retired Asians will host a panel discussion about Women in Leadership on Saturday, March 7, in celebration of International Women's Day.

The event will begin at 2 p.m. at the Township Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59 in Bartlett.

Attendees will hear from a panel of women discussing work/life balance, networking and supporting, rising above unseen barriers, and the evolution of empathy in leadership for women.

Panelists include: Tracey Colagrossi, director of aging services of Hanover Township; state Sen. Cristina Castro; state Rep. Michelle Mussman; Maaria Mozaffar, legislative attorney, author and mediator; Professor Mia Hardy of Elgin Community College; Cyndi Wollack, veterans specialist of Hanover Township; journalist Madhu Krishnamurthy; and neuro scientist Talat Khan.
