Learn about Illinois Beach State Park

Illinois Beach State Park: A Biological Hot Spot is the topic of a presentation from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at the Fremont Public Library, 1170 North Midlothian Road, Mundelein.

The area in far northeast Lake County is the last remaining undeveloped shoreline in Illinois.

The presentation will include a history of the area and photos of threatened and endangered species that inhabit unique sections of the park.
