The Grayslake Area Public Library will host the fourth annual Community Art Show, with an opening night reception Friday, March 13 at the library, 100 Library Lane, Grayslake.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with a reception at 8:30 p.m.


The library is partnering with Grayslake Elementary District 46, Foundation​46, Grayslake High School District 127, Prairie Charter School, and Old School Montessori for the show. The event is free and open to the public.

Art will be on display in the library, and viewers will enjoy hands-on activities, light refreshments and live jazz music from The Jim Jacobs Trio during the reception.

Overflow parking is available at the village of Grayslake's Skate Park and Aquatic Center parking lots.

Art pieces created by students of all ages will be on display in the library from Friday, March 6 through Tuesday, March 31.
