College of Lake County board seeking applicants for vacant seat

The College of Lake County board is accepting applications from those interested in replacing Trustee Catherine M. Finger, who recently resigned from the panel.

The person who fills the vacancy will be appointed by the members of the current board and serve until a successor is elected in April 2021. The board expects to make the appointment April 7.

To be eligible, applicants must be a citizen of the United States, 18 years or older and live within the college boundaries for at least one year preceding the appointment.

Those interested should send a one-page letter to Dr. William M. Griffin, Chair, Board of Trustees, c/o Karen Senase, Executive Assistant to the President, College of Lake County, President's Office, Room L223, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake, IL 60030. The letter also can be faxed to (847) 543-3017 or emailed to ksenase@clcillinois.edu.

The letter should state why the individual is interested in serving on the board, their relevant qualifications and experience, and any relationships or affiliations they have, or have had, with the college. The deadline is 4 p.m. March 26.
