Puppy stolen from store at Aurora mall

Aurora police have asked for the public's help in locating a brown and white Shih Tzu puppy that was stolen Feb. 12 from Furry Babies in the Fox Valley Mall.

The month-old dog is valued at $3,400, according to a news release the police issued Monday.

The store's employees noticed the puppy was gone between 7 and 7:30 p.m., while the store was busy, the news release said. The dog weighs just a few pounds and is only a bit bigger than the size of a hand.

Anyone with information should call Aurora police at (630) 256-5500.
