Candidates sought to replace Didech on Lake County Board

Candidates are being sought to fill the Lake County Board District 20 seat being vacated by the resignation of Adam Didech effective Feb. 10.

The appointee, who must be a Democrat like Didech, will serve until a replacement is chosen in the Nov. 3 election.

The spot must be filled within 60 days.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, registered to vote, a county resident for a year and live within District 20, which includes Buffalo Grove, portions of Long Grove and nearby unincorporated areas.
