Elk Grove Village re-ups with lobbyists for $204,000

Elk Grove Village has re-upped with three lobbyists to the tune of $204,000 to monitor legislation that might affect the village and help get grants for public works projects, officials said.

The village board inked contracts this week with three different firms for strategic consulting and advocacy services in 2020.

The agreements are with Washington, D.C.-based Cornerstone Government Affairs and its subcontractor, Fidelity Consulting Group, for $120,000; Rosemont-based Storino Ramello & Durkin and its subconsultant, Michael Alvarez, for $48,000; and Chicago-based Mac Strategies Group for $36,000.

Fidelity and Mac lobby on state issues, while Alvarez will focus on county issues.
