No one injured in fire at Palatine apartment building
A fire Tuesday afternoon at an apartment building in Palatine left four units uninhabitable, but no one was injured.
The blaze was reported at 3:15 p.m. at 1270 N. Sterling Ave., the Palatine Fire Department said in a news release, and was under control by 3:39 p.m.
The fire started in a first-floor apartment and spread to the second floor.
Damage estimates and the cause of the fire were not available late Tuesday night.
