All-Canada Show fills Pheasant Run over the weekend

With more than 150 vendors and booths, there was something for everyone Saturday at the All-Canada show at Pheasant Run.

The annual event showcases Canada's top fishing and hunting destinations and gives people the chance to talk to staff from lodges and outfitters.

Even though the future of the St. Charles resort is uncertain, show owner Jessica Cegielski was certain that the show would be back in the area again next year, even if it is at a different location.

"I think that the All-Canada show may be one of the first shows here at the resort," said Cegielski, "and we expect to be back in the area next year."

More than 2,000 people were expected to brave the blustery weather Saturday to visit booths and plan their prospective trips to the north.

The All-Canada Show continues 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Pheasant Run Resort Mega Center, 4051 E. Main St., St. Charles.
