Midwest Sustainability Group hosts new member meeting in Mundelein
Midwest Sustainability Group will host a new member/volunteer meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at the Fremont Public Library, 1170 N. Midlothian Road, Mundelein.
The group is involved in various issues, including protecting the Route 53/120 corridor, improving regional transportation, local environmental awards, a repair fair for Lake County, World Clean Up Day and regional zero waste policies as well as joining the fight to stop the ethylene oxide pollution in the area.
