Gurnee library to host event on winter holidays around the world
The Warren-Newport Public Library will host a family-friendly multicultural event which celebrates winter holidays from around the world. Attendees will spin the Hanukkah Dreidel, beat the drum in a Kwanzaa ceremony and parade under a Chinese New Year dragon. The free event will run from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19.
