Emergency crossing repairs closes Route 59 in downtown Barrington
Route 59 in Barrington is closed between Franklin Street and Main Street until late Wednesday afternoon for emergency repairs to the railroad crossing there.
Barricades went up at the crossing overnight and traffic is being diverted.
Motorists to the north of the closure are being advised to take Route 14 instead.
