Martial arts studio holding fundraiser for veterans Saturday

DK Fitness Arts Taekwondo is hosting Break-4-Vets, where participants will break hundreds of boards to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. The event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at 1714 E. Northwest Hwy. in Arlington Heights.

The family-friendly event will feature an opening ceremony with demonstrations, posting of colors by local Boy Scouts and is open to the public. Donations will be taken on premises with students being available to instruct and assist donors in breaking boards.
