Glassblowing demonstrations in Mundelein
Artist James Wilbat will open his glassblowing studio in the Cairo Industrial Park, 854 Tower Road, Mundelein, to the public on consecutive weekends beginning Saturday, Nov. 23. The open houses will feature glassblowing demonstrations by Wilbat, visiting glassblowers and demonstrators, glass designs not available outside the studio, refreshments, and a drawing to win a piece of hand-blown glass. Open house dates and hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays; and, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29. Visit www.wilbatglass.com.
