Three legislators to attend forum Sunday in Arlington Heights

Three state legislators will participate in a forum Sunday afternoon at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights.

State Rep. Mark Walker, state Rep. Tom Morrison and state Sen. Ann Gillespie will talk about state issues during the nonpartisan forum hosted by Policy Beyond Our Walls: Education and Response, also known as P.O.W.E.R.

The event is scheduled from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the church, 1234 N. Arlington Heights Road. The legislators will be available to talk to residents during a post-forum reception.

Walker, an Arlington Heights Democrat, represents the 53rd District and Morrison, a Palatine Republican, represents the 54th District. Together, their House districts form the 27th District represented by Gillespie, an Arlington Heights Democrat, in the Senate.
