Barrington Area Council hosting water testing, prescription drug take-back event
As part of an annual private well water testing event for Barrington Area Council of Governments residents, the agency on Nov. 5 will offer a free prescription drug take-back with services provided by the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
The event will run from 1 to 7 p.m. at The Garlands of Barrington, 1000 Garlands Lane in Barrington.
BACOG is a voluntary organization of elected officials representing the villages of Barrington, Barrington Hills, Deer Park, Lake Barrington, North Barrington, South Barrington and Tower Lakes and the townships of Barrington and Cuba.
