Author Garth Stein to visit Wauconda

The Wauconda Area Library will host author Garth Stein on Wednesday night as a fundraiser for the Wauconda Area Library Foundation. Stein, writer of "The Art of Racing in the Rain," will appear from 7 to 9 p.m. at the library, 801 N. Main St. Tickets are $50 and include a hardcover copy of the book, light appetizers and beverages and the chance to meet Stein and have the book signed.
