March for Life planned for Saturday in Palatine

NorthWest Families will hold its annual March for Life beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the St. Theresa Parish Dolan Center, 455 N. Benton St., in Palatine.

The event will begin with a gathering inside the St. Theresa gym, followed by a procession down the sidewalk along Northwest Highway to the plaza at Hicks Road, the return to St. Theresa for a rally.

Among the expected speakers are former Republican gubernatorial candidate Jeanne Ives, state Rep. Tom Morrison of Palatine and Morgan Jayne Hill, aka "Baby Mary Grace," who was the inspiration for the state's Safe Haven Law.
