Palatine library staff wins national marketing award

The Palatine Public Library District's marketing team of Andrea Lublink, Kiel Cross and Jean Bolliger recently were honored with the Library Journal 2019 Marketer of the Year Award.

The team was specifically recognized for their tax-increase referendum marketing campaign. The award, sponsored by Library Ideas, included a $2,000 cash prize.

Library district voters approved the measure for building projects in April. Library Journal, a national publication that advocates for librarians and libraries, created the award to recognize the importance of innovative approaches to marketing library services.
