One person was stabbed and several others were hurt in large fight Monday night in an Aurora park, police said.

Authorities responded about 7:55 p.m. to reports of a fight at May Street Park on the 600 block of North Highland Avenue but were unable to locate anyone involved, police spokesman Paris Lewbel said.

Authorities later received reports of several people who walked into Mercy Medical Center and said they'd been injured in a fight at the park, Lewbel said. One man had been stabbed, one woman had been hit repeatedly and another woman had been pepper sprayed.

Officers then returned to the park and found "potential physical evidence," Lewbel said. Police are still investigating.
