Community Resource Fair in Des Plaines

The Jane L. Westerhold Early Learning Center will host a Community Resource Fair from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the school,

1375 S. 5th Ave., Des Plaines.

The fair will host more than 20 community agencies that support students in Des Plaines, including the Des Plaines Public Library, Des Plaines Park District, Self-Help Closet & Pantry of Des Plaines, Des Plaines Fire Department, Des Plaines History Center and Des Plaines Arts Council.

"This is a great opportunity to connect with local and nearby organizations within and around the Des Plaines area," said Margarite Beniaris, director of student services for Des Plaines Elementary School District 62. "We encourage families and our community members to attend and participate in this fun night."
