Auditions for 'radio' plays in Libertyville

Auditions for Improv Playhouse's live "radio" plays will be held beginning Oct. 1. No memorization required but actors should prepare their voices for a script reading. Some roles requiring dialects are: East European/Russian, Dutch/German, British/Cockney. Men and women over 18 are welcome. Radio dramas are staged performances of classic "radio" plays from the golden era of broadcasting. Scripts from Orson Welles, NBC Radio, Mercury Theater, among others are interpreted and performed for a live audience throughout the year.
