PM & L Theatre holding auditions for 'Chess'
Auditions for "Chess" the musical will be held by appointment beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9 and Tuesday, Sept. 10, at PM & L Theatre, 877 Main St., Antioch.
Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 11. A minimum of 19 cast members are being sought, including a rock tenor, baritone, bass and more. The ensemble will consist of a minimum 12 singers and dancers, with many multi-cast in various roles.
Those auditioning should prepare and memorize a 16-bar vocal selection in the style of the musical. Songs from the show are encouraged. There may also be cold readings from the script.
