Bicyclist injured after being hit by vehicle in Addison

Authorities responded after a vehicle collided with a bicyclist in Addison Monday evening, fire officials confirmed.

First responders were called to West Lake Street and Marcus Drive at about 5:07 p.m. after the bicyclist was hit, according to Battalion Chief Jeffrey Pluta of the Addison Fire Department.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
 

The bicyclist was taken to a local hospital. Their condition and the nature of the crash is unknown.
