Music, rides, beer at Lake Zurich Alpine Days July 19-21
In the summer of 1942, volunteer and service organizations came together in Lake Zurich to establish the annual tradition that's now known as Alpine Fest. This year, the Lake Zurich Lions Club will host Alpine Fest 2019 on July 19-21 in Lion Fred Blau Park at 81 E. Main St., Lake Zurich.
The event will offer carnival rides, games of skill, food, a beer garden, face painting, balloon art, a parade and more.
All-you-can-ride specials will be offered for $20 from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
The parade will step off at 11:30 a.m. Sunday from Paulus Park.
Musical acts will include The Allstars and Modern Day Romeos on Friday; Razin Kane, Dirty Canteen, EVO and Mike & Joe on Saturday; and Triadd and Hot Rocks on Sunday.
