SWALCO to host free electronic recycling for businesses, organizations

The Solid Waste Agency of Lake County is hosting a free electronics recycling program for businesses, schools, institutions and local units of government from 8 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, July 16. Accepted electronics include keyboards, mice, fax machines, computer towers, tablets, servers, printers, copiers and cellphones. Most TVs and computer monitors will cost $25 to donate, according to the organizers. Large appliances and hazardous chemical waste will not be accepted.

All items should be delivered unboxed and free of excess packaging materials. Attendees must present a business card or Federal Tax ID when they arrive. The recycling event will be hosted at the west parking lot of the Lincolnshire Corporate Center at 300 Knightsbridge Parkway in Lincolnshire.
