Grayslake Craft Beer Festival offers wide selection of brews to choose from

Whitney Street in downtown Grayslake was the site Saturday of the seventh annual Grayslake Craft Beer Festival.

The fest featured more than 70 craft brews, several local restaurants and live music.

Attendees were given glasses to sample the beer.

Brewers set up in tents to distribute their creations.

"I think the beer speaks for itself. People come out for good beer," said Marlon Rodas with the Grayslake Chamber of Comnmerce.

The event is a joint partnership between the chamber and the Exchange Club of Grayslake. Some of the proceeds go to the Grayslake Scholarship Fund.
