Grayslake student, bus driver suffer minor injuries in crash
Two people were sent to the hospital after a Grayslake High School District 127 school bus and a small car crashed at the intersection of Lancer Lane and Washington Street, according to officials Friday.
Grayslake Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Jim Weidman said the bus driver and one high school student suffered minor injuries.
Emergency personnel were called to the scene at 3:45 p.m. Weidman said soon after they arrived, school district employees came and drove the bus away. He described the crash as minor.
