Recognize, control invasive plants

Learn to recognize and control six invasive plants from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at Fremont Public Library, 1170 North Midlothian Road, Mundelein. Mary Zaander, ecologist, manager and owner Witness Tree Native Landscapes will present user friendly control techniques and leave time for questions about particular troublesome invaders. Families are welcome. There is no charge for admission. The program is presented by Lake to Prairie Chapter of Wild Ones, a national not-for-profit organization that promotes the use of native plants in landscapes. Registration is not required.
