ID theft and consumer fraud program

State Sen. Dan McConchie of Hawthorn Woods will host a free ID theft and consumer fraud program on Tuesday, April 23, 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Libertyville Senior Center, 135 West Church St., Libertyville. The program will provide constituents with the latest information on how you can protect yourself, your friends, and your family from scam artists and fraudulent businesses. Attendees will learn how to avoid identity theft, check their credit report, and file a consumer fraud complaint. All Senate District 26 constituents are invited to attend the program. Free admission, refreshments, and informational brochures will be available. No RSVP is required.
