One arrested, one at large after Lincolnshire robbery

A Johnsburg man was arrested Thursday after a robbery in Lincolnshire, police said.

Jorge A. Lopez-Castillo, 21, and an accomplice tried to rob a third man after luring the victim to a sandwich shop on the 100 block of Milwaukee Avenue using a social media app, police said.

The victim had gone to the restaurant to sell electronic video gaming equipment, police said.

The confrontation spilled out into the parking lot and police were called about 3:45 p.m., authorities said.

Lopez-Castillo, of the 3000 block of Weingard Road, was charged with felony aggravated robbery and misdemeanor battery.

A pellet gun was recovered, police said.

The second robber was last seen fleeing on foot and remains at large, police said. Detectives are working to identify and locate him.
